Pact Tiny Patios Series | NYC

We made it to the East Coast! We thank you for following along with this country-wide virtual tour de patio as we’ve gone from Hawaii to Los Angeles, to Denver and now, New York City! We’re joining @ekammeyer for an at-home date night overlooking one of the world’s most iconic skylines. We think it’s a great place to wrap up the series, and the IGTV episode shows such a magical night of cooking, dancing, and enjoying each other’s company. This series was set to inspire and showcase how others are making the most of their time at home by enjoying the outdoor spaces they have. Hopefully, you’ve picked up a few great tips and are planning a morning yoga session, patio makeover (could also be patio refresh), movie night, or fun date night in the space that you have.

With each feature in the series, we’ve asked the host about how they’ve used their outdoor spaces and what it’s meant to them during the last few months. Here’s what Emily had to say.

We have been so thankful to have this space, especially during quarantine in NYC. We love standing outside every day at 7 pm for the essential worker clap because we care, we also enjoy the space for sunset cocktails, followed by dinner. Many mornings I do outdoor yoga or a workout. Getting some Vitamin D while getting a sweat feels so good!

During this time, this space has meant so much to us. It’s freedom. It's made us feel a little more normal, more grounded.

I’m so lucky Trevor loves to cook. It's his creative outlet.  His love language is definitely food! So cooking together each night has been the best part of quarantine. It's definitely brought us closer together and given us something to do together each night. Putting out candles, enjoying the sunset, and just being thankful for each other has kept it special.

Well, folks, we’ve reached the end of the road for Pact’s Tiny Patio Series. We will cherish the memories of long virtual hours spent driving across Hawaii, the Pacific Ocean, and the lower 48 with you. But until next time, we’ll be busy soaking up every second of patio season.

The Pact Tiny Patio Series: What's It All About?

We'll be taking you all on a virtual road trip across the country to see how different individuals are making the most of their patio and outside spaces. With warm weather upon us and more beautiful days ahead, we are now challenged on how to make our time at home and with space we have as enjoyable and memorable as possible. Cue in your patio, balcony, stoop, whatever it is you have. Not only are we going to show "How To" moments to inspire you and your families on how to mix it up, but we're also asking you to share all your patio moments with us!
